HISTORY OF "HO JAMAALO"
------------------------------
When the bridge over River Indus at Sukkur was completed, during the British Raj, it was so long that, train drivers were too afraid to drive the train over it. Government announced that if there was any one who can drive the train across it.
A prisoner in Sukkur Jail named Jamal, who was given pun9ishment of death said
" I'll do but if I succeed then the government will free me and grant me pardon."
He succeeded and the government released him.
Then his wife sang this song:
"Hoo muhunjo khatti ayo khair saan......
Ho Jamal Ho
Jeko Sukkur wari pul taan,
Ho Jamal Ho......!"
Till date, it has been a celebratory song across the Motherland now.
Forward to your friends to make them aware of this.!
