Adobe Testing Free-to-use version of Photoshop on the web
Adobe has begun testing a free-to-use version of Photoshop on the web, with ambitions to make the service available to everyone to introduce more people to the tool. The company is now testing the free version in Canada, where customers may use Photoshop on the web by creating a free Adobe account. Adobe defines the service as "freemium," with intentions to ultimately restrict some functions to paying customers only. Enough tools will be publicly available to fulfill Photoshop's essential operations, according to Adobe.
