This suitcase is passed from hand to hand without a handle. In 2016, the Nokia mobile device brand was sold by Microsoft to some HMD Global office. They were churning out something, but their tablets and mobile phones were selling poorly. And HMD Global announced that there will be no more new products under the legendary Finnish brand. They will gradually sell off the remainder, and then they will produce the same garbage, but under their own HMD brand.
And Nokia as a mobile phone brand will disappear in 2026 – that’s when HMD Global’s trademark rights will end. Whether someone will once again raise the fallen banner - no one knows.
